Makita HM1214C 27 lb. AVT® Demolition Hammer – Accepts SDS-Max Bits
The Makita HM1214C is tough on concrete, not you. The HM1214C breaker hammer accepts SDS-Max bits and includes Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT) standard. AVT is an exclusive counterbalance system that reduces vibration. This results in more efficient hitting and less tool vibration. This breaker hammer packs an efficient 14 Amp motor providing from 950 up to 1900 beats per minute and 25.7 joules of impact energy. In addition, it has an automatic brush cut-off system that protects the commutator, and a warning indicator lamp for longer tool life.
The Makita HM1214C weighs in at 27.1lbs. Additionally, it has a lower noise rating of 102dB. This breaker hammer has a large side handle with an easy to operate switch control. As a result, operators have firm and stable control of the tool. Additionally, the side handle has a 360 degree swivel for greater convenience. Motor brushes are also longer on this breaker hammer. As a result you get more work between service intervals and less downtime.
Makita HM1214C Convenience & Control
The Makita HM1214C breaker hammer uses a variable speed control dial. This enables users to set the right speed for the application. In addition, constant speed control automatically applies additional power under load to maintain consistent drilling speed. Soft start comes standard. The soft start feature suppresses start up reaction for better precision and greater accuracy.
L.E.D. indicator lamps serve multiple purposes on this tool. First, a service light notifies users approximately 8 hours before the breaker hammer brushes need to be replaced. Additionally, an L.E.D. power light also indicates whether the tool has an active electrical connection or not. Last but not least, 12 bit angle settings allow the bit to be set at different positions for operator convenience.
