The versatile HR2475 Makita 1 inch rotary hammer drill brings efficient hitting in a compact size. As a result you can work faster and be more productive. The powerful 7 amp motor of this hammer drill delivers a no load speed of 0-1100RPM with 0-4500BPM and 2.7 joules of impact energy. Three operation modes allow you to select between rotation only, hammer and rotation, or hammer only. A one touch sliding chuck makes bit changes easy. A variable speed trigger allows users to properly match speed with application. As a result of the 40 available bit angle settings you have the flexibility you need to get the job done. This hard hitting rotary hammer is great for masons, remodelers, electricians, maintenance crews, and general contractors.
The HR2475 has a torque limiting clutch. As a result the gears automatically disengage if the bit binds which in turn prevents gear damage. The handle is an ergonomic D shape with rubber soft grip for operator comfort. With the Makita Motor Advantage you get field core interlocking steel laminations, dual ball bearing armature, and copper commutator bars. As a result, you get greater energy efficiency, more power, and longer tool life. Additionally, you get extended life brushes which are longer and go further between service intervals.
