Pin nailers are similar to brad nailers and are used in finishing work typically. Just like a brad nailer, pin nailers shoot a headless fastener but of a smaller diameter. Typically, this is 23 gauge and no more than one inch long. The small diameter and headless nail allows for trim work with the most minimal visible markings on the surface of the wood.
