The Simpson Strong-Tie SUL26Z is a 45° skewed left joist hanger designed for solid sawn or engineered wood in wood-frame construction. This U-shaped hanger securely wraps the top flange of the joist, eliminating the need for web stiffeners during standard installation. Built with ZMAX galvanization for enhanced corrosion resistance, the SUL26Z is ideal for indoor and outdoor applications where additional strength and angled connections are required. The SUL model is the left-skewed version, while the SUR supports right-skewed configurations.
